What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect the following for fulfilling orders:

  • Products ordered

This information will be exported at least once a year and deleted from server.

Cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We share some of your data with PayPal Inc to process payments. The latter complies with GDPR to the best of our knowledge.

Additional information

How we protect your data

We export all the data from orders to an extarnal hard disc at least once every calendar year and delete it from our website. This ensures your data is safely disconnected from the internet. However we do need to store all orders for a minimum of 5 years for tax regulations.

What data breach procedures we have in place

As described in the previous point, we keep your data safe by exporting it to external drives. However if we were to discover a security breach, we will immediately contact our webhost to quarantine our website. We will inform everyone that is registered as a user and all orders that had not been exported within 7 days from the discovery of the breach.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not use data from third parties.
